Meet Tina

Tina Kortje, Owner/Licensed Esthetician

Creating a place of healing and self-care had been a life-long passion for me. I’ve had a fascination for studying health and skin care for as long as I can remember.  After a number of years spent practicing as a counselor and Social Worker, I sought to somehow combine the two worlds. In 2006 I headed back to school to complete my esthetics education at the Euro Institute of Skin Care.  Since then I have worked in a number of select spas in the Seattle area, attended continuing education classes and training in advanced skincare, and worked as a skin care educator and trainer to perfect and master my skills.  Finally, I decided to create a space where I could provide holistic and results-driven skin care treatments in a peaceful and nurturing environment.  My desire was to help support and encourage self-care and beauty from the inside out.  In May 2010, I opened Luminous Skincare Studio.

My underlying goal is to give you the knowledge you need to keep your skin healthy and vibrant.  I have an array of techniques and hand selected products to help revitalize and improve your skin.  My ultimate intention is to give you an experience that will leave you looking and feeling balanced, refreshed and luminous.
